'Without going or coming' means that this true mind does not go to the prior boundary, does not come from the posterior boundary, nor does it abide in the present. That which abides in the present is all saṃskṛta dharmas. The *Vijñaptimātratāsiddhi* says: 'Abiding indicates that this dharma temporarily has function.' The present [mind] is not like that; therefore it is said to be 'without'.
