Second, regarding the training in concentration, there are also two categories: 1. Regarding the greedy and mad: their nature delights in fame and gain; remaining long in the mountains, their mind becomes slightly settled and peaceful, and they manifest marks of concentration to dazzle worldly people and attract great fame, broadly disparaging other people who lack these marks as entirely wrong. These are araṇya thieves, appearing in the *Kuśalamūlasaṃparigraha-sūtra*. 2. Regarding the deviantly arrogant: their nature lacks extensive learning; relying on mountains to practice concentration, aided by the power of ghosts and spirits, their mind in concentration holds views; not skillfully recognizing them, they rely on this to give rise to arrogance, assume great fame, bully and extinguish other people considering them all to be wrong, and damage the Buddhadharma. These are great thieves of Mara's faction, appearing in the *Awakening of Faith* and the *Kuśalamūlasaṃparigraha-sūtra*.
