"Since relying..." is seventh: concluding the formulation of actualized enlightenment, in two parts: first, explaining that which is enlightened in terms of conforming to the flow [of saṃsāra]. That which is enlightened is precisely non-enlightenment. The manifold dream-thoughts are the affliction obstacle; turning up to the mark of cessation is the karmic obstacle; from "long slumber" onward is the retribution obstacle. Since one is covered by the three obstacles and entirely unaware, never having awakened from beginningless time until now, it is called "long slumber." The three realms are the dependent retribution, and the six destinies are the primary retribution; repeatedly returning to and heading toward these six, they are called "destinies."
