「適生七日，其母命終，以懷天人師功福大故，上生忉利，封受自然。菩薩本知母人之德不堪受其禮故，因其將終，而從之生。
"Just seven days after his birth, his mother's life came to an end. Because the merit and fortune of bearing the teacher of devas and humans were so great, she was reborn above in Trāyastriṃśa, naturally enjoying its entitlements. The Bodhisattva originally knew that a mother's virtue could not bear receiving his homage, and therefore, because she was about to end [her life], he was born from her."
