「王知其志固，惘然不知所言。便自還宮，謂瞿夷曰：『如吾子心，清白難動如地，不樂富貴，不慕於天下，唯道是欲，自期必逮。』

"The King, knowing his resolve was firm, was at a loss for words. He returned to the palace on his own and said to Gopikā: 'Such is my son's mind, pure and immoveable like the earth. He takes no pleasure in wealth or nobility and does not yearn for the world. He desires only the Way, and is determined to attain it.'"
