無明，單指法癡，除此皆屬染心攝故。不覺，即無明法癡也。緣滅則不起現行，故相應心滅。因滅則無復種子，故不相應心滅，成如來也。

"Nescience" refers solely to dullness regarding phenomena, because everything other than this is subsumed under defiled minds. "Non-enlightenment" is nescience and dullness regarding phenomena. When conditions cease, active manifestations no longer arise; hence the associated mind ceases. When causes cease, seeds no longer remain; hence the non-associated mind ceases, and one becomes a Tathāgata.
