3.37

是故佛說：「一切眾生無始已來常入涅槃，菩提非可修相、非可生相，畢竟無得，無有色相而可得見。見色相者，當知皆是隨染幻用，非是智色不空之相，以智相不可得故。」廣如彼說。

Therefore the Buddha taught: "All sentient beings from beginninglessness constantly enter nirvāṇa. Bodhi is not a mark that can be cultivated, nor is it a mark that can be generated; it is ultimately unattainable, having no mark of form that could be seen. That which sees marks of form, one should know, is entirely the illusory function that follows defilement, and not the non-empty mark of wisdom-form, because the mark of wisdom is unattainable."
