5.26

五者如經中說，依如來藏有生死、得涅槃。凡愚聞之不知其義，則謂依如來藏生死有始。以見始故，復謂涅槃有其終盡。

Fifth, as stated in the sūtras, relying on the tathāgatagarbha, there is saṃsāra and the attainment of nirvāṇa. Ordinary foolish people, upon hearing this, do not know its meaning, and say that relying on the tathāgatagarbha, saṃsāra has a beginning. Because they see a beginning, they further say that nirvāṇa has an end.
