5.8

一者如經中說，如來法身究竟寂滅，猶如虛空。凡愚聞之不解其義，則執如來性同於虛空，常恒遍有。

First: as stated in the sūtras, the dharmakāya of the Tathāgata is ultimate quiescence, just like empty space. When the ordinary and foolish hear this and do not understand its meaning, they cling to the Tathāgata's nature as being identical to empty space, eternal, permanent, and pervasively existent.
