6.130

復次初學菩薩住此娑婆世界，或值寒熱、風雨不時、饑饉等苦，或見不善可畏眾生，三毒所纏邪見顛倒、棄背善道習行惡法，菩薩在中心生怯弱，恐不可值遇諸佛菩薩、恐不能成就清淨信心，生疑欲退者，應作是念：「十方所有諸佛菩薩皆得大神通無有障礙，能以種種善巧方便救拔一切險厄眾生。」作是念已發大誓願，一心專念佛及菩薩。以生如是決定心故，於此命終必得往生餘佛剎中見佛菩薩，信心成就永離惡趣。

"Furthermore, when beginning bodhisattvas dwell in this sahā world, they may encounter cold and heat, unseasonal wind and rain, famine, and other such sufferings; or they may see unwholesome and fearsome sentient beings, bound by the three poisons, with inverted wrong views, turning away from the wholesome path and practicing unwholesome phenomena. When bodhisattvas are among them, their minds may give rise to cowardice, fearing that they may not encounter the Buddhas and bodhisattvas and fearing that they cannot accomplish a pure faithful mind, giving rise to doubt and desiring to regress. They should think thus: ‘All the Buddhas and bodhisattvas throughout the ten directions have attained great supernormal powers without obstruction, and are able with various skillful expedients to rescue all sentient beings in peril and distress.’ Having thought thus, they should give rise to great vows and with one mind single-mindedly be mindful of the Buddhas and bodhisattvas. Because they give rise to such a decisive mind, at the end of their lives they will definitely attain rebirth in other Buddha-lands, see the Buddhas and bodhisattvas, have their faithful mind accomplished, and forever leave behind bad destinies."
