次對惑情以辨道理。聖慧觀察，知但是陰，無別我人。故《地持》云「聲聞緣覺，見陰離陰，我不可見。諸行緣起，生滅和合，陰與離陰，無我人性。」即是理也（此二門竟）。

Next, distinguishing the principle in contrast to deluded attachments: through noble wisdom's observation, one knows that there are only the aggregates and no separate self or person. Therefore the Bodhisattvabhūmi says: 'Śrāvakas and pratyekabuddhas see the aggregates and what is separate from the aggregates; a self cannot be seen. All conditioned phenomena arise dependently, an aggregation of arising and perishing; neither within the aggregates nor separate from the aggregates is there any nature of a self or person.' This is the principle (this completes the second gate).
