次據修義分別十願。修不頓成，必藉以漸，初七修始，次二修熟，後一修成究竟得果（此二門竟）。

Next, differentiating the ten vows according to the meaning of cultivation. Cultivation is not accomplished all at once; it necessarily relies on gradual progression. The first seven are the beginning of cultivation, the next two are the maturation of cultivation, and the final one is the accomplishment of cultivation, reaching the ultimate fruit (here ends this second section).
