The meaning of the ten practices is differentiated into six gates: (1. explaining the names; 2. identifying the essence; 3. the purpose of cultivating and initiating; 4. that upon which the initiation of practice relies; 5. determining the stage; 6. the causes and conditions for initiating the exposition).
