15.38

次約修辨。如《地持》說，種性解行名無相修方便，漸學破相趣入出世。彼歡喜住乃至緣起相應慧住，得無相修，正能破相證入無為二無相住。無相住無相修淨，得無生忍，知一切法本不起故，無礙至佛無相修果，依前離相成諸德故（此三門竟）。

Next, distinguishing according to cultivation: As taught in the Bodhisattvabhūmi, the lineages and resolve-conduct are called the means for signless cultivation; one gradually learns to destroy signs and advances into the supramundane. From that abode of joy up to the abode of wisdom corresponding to dependent origination, one attains signless cultivation, correctly able to destroy signs and realize the unconditioned—these are the two signless abodes. In the signless abodes, signless cultivation is purified, and one attains anutpattika-dharma-kṣānti, because one knows that all dharmas fundamentally do not arise. From unimpeded up to Buddhahood are the fruits of signless cultivation, because all virtues are accomplished based on the preceding departure from signs. (This concludes the third portal.)
