20.66

次第四門明其得處。對因不同，得處亦異。若對地前所修善業，淨心地已去相好報生。若對地上所修之因，隨諸地中次第報生。此之兩義，如《地持》說。得處如是（此四門竟）。

Next, the fourth section clarifies where they are attained. In contrast to different causes, the loci of attainment also differ. If contrasted with the wholesome karma cultivated prior to the bhūmis, the marks and signs are born as retribution from the ground of pure mind onward. If contrasted with causes cultivated on the bhūmis, they are born as retribution in succession across the various bhūmis. These two meanings are as stated in the Bodhisattvabhūmi.
