20.73

次第二門明其作業。此不共法，於十方界利益眾生，有十種業：一欲令眾生信心清淨，受丈夫身，起諸相好。二一切所作無礙自在，起四一切種淨。三為益眾生，斷一切疑，起佛十力。四為開如來一切知見，答一切問，伏諸邪論，建立正義，起四無畏。五如來智慧調伏眾生，隨諸眾生於正法中若住不住，不起惱心起三念處。六一切所作無有過失，起三不護。七常以佛眼觀察世間，起大悲心。八於眾生一切所作皆已作故，起不忘法。九如來所行隨順於如，無有餘過，起斷諸習。十不善無記一切遠離，於諸善法分別顯示，故起一切種妙智。作業如是。

Next, the second section clarifies their functions. These unshared attributes benefit sentient beings throughout the realms of the ten directions and have ten kinds of activities: 1. Wishing to cause sentient beings to have pure faith and receive the body of a puruṣa, he generates the marks and signs. 2. For unhindered sovereignty in all that is done, he generates the four purities of all kinds. 3. To benefit sentient beings and sever all doubts, he generates the Buddha's ten powers. 4. To disclose the Tathāgata's all-knowing vision, answer all questions, subdue all heterodox doctrines, and establish correct tenets, he generates the four fearlessnesses. 5. For the Tathāgata's wisdom to subdue sentient beings, giving rise to no vexation of mind whether sentient beings abide or do not abide in the correct Dharma, he generates the three applications of mindfulness. 6. So that all that is done is free of fault, he generates the three non-protections. 7. Constantly observing the world with the Buddha-eye, he generates the mind of great compassion. 8. Because he has already accomplished all that should be done for sentient beings, he generates non-forgetfulness of the Dharma. 9. Because the Tathāgata's conduct accords with Suchness and is free of remaining faults, he generates the severance of residual habits. 10. Completely leaving behind what is unwholesome and indeterminate, and distinguishing and demonstrating all wholesome dharmas, he generates the marvelous cognition of all modes. Their activities are like this.
