八倒義九門分別（釋名辨相一　約教分定二　就人辨定三　倒起所因四　約對三倒辨其同異五　對二著我共相收攝六　約對十使共相收攝七　對境分別八　治斷差別九）

The doctrine of the eight inversions is distinguished in nine gates: 1. Explaining the names and discerning the characteristics; 2. Determining them in reference to the teachings; 3. Determining them with respect to persons; 4. The causes for the arising of the inversions; 5. Discerning their similarities and differences in correlation with the three inversions; 6. Subsuming them in correlation with the two attachments to self; 7. Subsuming them in correlation with the ten driving agents; 8. Distinguishing them with respect to sense-objects; 9. Differences in their remedy and eradication.
