Regarding the two kinds of views within the views of no cause: someone was formerly born in the Heaven of Non-Perception and later was born among humans; practicing dhyāna, he recollected past events and then said, 'The world exists without a cause.' This is the first view. Or again, someone, by means of agile intellect, analyzes and observes, and states, 'The world exists without a cause.' This is the second view. The preceding eighteen views are the eternalist views generated regarding the original kalpa (this concludes the original views).
