Question: In what way is there only one truth? The Great Master formerly said: There are four truths, two truths, and one truth. As for the four truths, they are the ultimate truth and conventional truth, the truth of emptiness and the truth of existence. As for the two truths, the two truths of emptiness and existence are still the two truths of ultimate and conventional. Existence is still conventional, and emptiness is still ultimate; therefore one speaks of two truths.
