問：若爾，應無二諦。解云：實唯一諦，但隨順眾生故說二諦也。《百論》亦爾。俗非諦，隨俗故說有俗諦。故論文云「隨俗說故無過」也。

Question: If so, there should be no two truths. Explanation: In reality, there is only one truth; it is merely in compliance with sentient beings that two truths are spoken of. The Śataśāstra is also like this: the conventional is not truth, but in compliance with the conventional it is said that there is conventional truth. Thus the treatise text states: "Because it is spoken in compliance with the conventional, there is no fault."
