是以言去不必去，閑（防也）人之常想。稱住不必住，釋（解也）人之所謂（執也）往耳。豈曰去而可遣（遷也）、住而可留耶？

"Therefore, to say it departs does not mean it must depart: it prevents people's conception of permanence. To call it abiding does not mean it must abide: it resolves what people describe as passing away. How could one say that what departs can be cast off, or that what abides can be detained?"
