The first sentence raises the sage who is capable of realizing it, causing things to take him as a model; the next two sentences reveal the character of realization. The "thousand transformations" are the myriad things of names and characteristics. "Without changing" is because one is identical with names and characteristics yet in tathatā. "Delusions" are false conceptualizations. "Remaining ever unobstructed" is because one is identical with false conceptualization yet in correct knowledge. From "is because" onward, it provides the reason for identifying with the real, which is readily understood.
