內雖照而無知、外雖實而無相，內外寂然相與俱無，此則聖所不能異寂也。

Although within there is illumination, it is without knowing; although without there is reality, it is animitta. Within and without are tranquil, mutually both absent; this, then, is where the sage cannot make their stillness different.
