疑者當以撫會應機覩（觀）變（動）之知，不可謂之不有矣。而論旨云「本無惑取之知」，而未釋（通）所以不取之理。

"Those who doubt would hold that the knowing that adapts to encounters, responds to capacities, and beholds (observes) mutations (movements) cannot be called non-existent. Yet the treatise's purport states that 'it is fundamentally without the knowing that apprehends with delusion,' without explaining (clarifying) the principle of why it does not apprehend."
