此難權智有取。意謂實智妙盡冥符不取可爾；權撫物機應大應小、觀物變動，此知定有。已上按定。而論旨下，舉論以難。理合有取，論反謂無，未通不取之理也。

This challenges upāya-jñāna as having apprehension. It means: one may grant that tattva-jñāna subtly exhausts and darkly tallies without apprehension; but when upāya adapts to the capacities of things, responding to the great and responding to the small, and observes the mutations of things, this knowing definitely exists. The above sets this down as fixed. From 'Yet the treatise's purport' onward, he adduces the treatise to raise an objection: in principle it ought to have apprehension, but the treatise conversely says it is without it, failing to clarify the principle of why it does not apprehend.
