The "Śāri[putra] Chapter" says: "When a bodhisattva practices the perfection of wisdom, he knows all sentient beings, yet his mind does not apprehend sentient beings, up to not apprehending a knower or a seer." The "Illumination Chapter" says: "Prajñā can illuminate all dharmas, because it is ultimately pure." The "Three Wisdoms Chapter" says: "All is without doing; prajñā is also without doing," and so forth. Here they are collected and cited together to show that the sage mind knows and yet performs, proving that upāya and tattva are not different, and concurrently proving that having knowledge and lacking knowledge are identical.
