至理虛玄，擬心已差，況乃有言。恐所示轉遠，庶通心君子，有以相期於文外耳。
The ultimate principle is empty and mysterious; to direct the mind toward it is already an error, much more so to have words. I fear what is indicated will become ever more distant; I only hope that gentlemen of penetrating mind will mutually meet beyond the text.
