佛言：「我昔為菩薩名曰儒童，於然燈佛所已入涅槃。儒童菩薩時於七住獲無生忍，進修三位。」
The Buddha said: "In the past, when I was a bodhisattva named Māṇava, I had already entered nirvāṇa under the Buddha Dīpaṃkara. At that time, Bodhisattva Māṇava attained the tolerance of non-arising at the seventh abode, and advanced to cultivate the three stages."
