儒童曰：「昔我於無數劫，以國財身命施人無數，以妄想心，則非為施也。今以無生心五華施佛，始名施爾。」又空行菩薩入空解脫門，方言：「今是行時，非謂證時。」

The Youth Mānavaka said: 'Formerly, throughout countless eons, I gave people my kingdom, wealth, body, and life countless times; yet because of a mind of delusive conception, these were not [true] giving. Now, offering five lotuses to the Buddha with an unarisen mind, this alone is first named giving.' Moreover, the Bodhisattva of Empty Action, entering the liberation-gate of emptiness, only then said: 'Now is the time of practice, not the time of realization.'
