From "The objection states" down to "encounters do not miss the opportune moment" means that real wisdom exhausts the reality of all phenomena, and upāya-jñāna responds to the stimuli of all things, neither of them failing. Regarding the four sentences from "Because encounters do not miss" downward, Venerable Da of Yun'an says: "There must be wisdom capable of encountering that responds to capacities that can be encountered. There must also be wisdom capable of knowing that knows the principle that can be known." The four sentences from "Because there must be knowing" downward state that there are truly knowing and encountering.
