復有六勝：一生位，二願位，三勇猛，四淨依，五餘巧，六餘出。生勝有四：一種子勝，信大法為種子。二生母勝，般若波羅蜜為生母故。三胎藏勝，大禪定樂為胎藏故。四乳母勝，大悲長養為乳母故。願即十大願，應依《瑜伽》四十五，如下明。一供養恭敬一切諸佛。二受持一切三世佛法。三隨諸如來轉法輪處，皆往供養聽聞正法。四明諸菩薩所行勝行。五成熟一切有情，如般若說。六了知器界及有情界。七嚴淨一切諸佛國土。八不離一切菩薩諸佛。九利益眾生，猶如藥樹，如如意珠，生遇皆益。十隨所利生，常無休息，非同二乘速入涅槃。

Furthermore, there are six surpassing excellences: first, the stage of birth; second, the stage of vows; third, vigor; fourth, pure basis; fifth, residual skillfulness; sixth, residual departure. The surpassing excellence of birth has four aspects: first, the surpassing excellence of the seed, taking faith in the great Dharma as the seed; second, the surpassing excellence of the birth mother, because prajñāpāramitā is the birth mother; third, the surpassing excellence of the womb, because the bliss of great dhyāna is the womb; fourth, the surpassing excellence of the wet nurse, because the nurturing of great compassion is the wet nurse. The vows are the ten great vows, which should be relied on according to the forty-fifth [fascicle] of the Yogācārabhūmi, as explained below: 1. Making offerings and paying respect to all Buddhas; 2. Upholding all the Buddhas' teachings of the three times; 3. Wherever the Tathāgatas turn the wheel of the Dharma, going to all those places to make offerings and listen to the true Dharma; 4. Illuminating the superior practices performed by all bodhisattvas; 5. Maturing all sentient beings, as spoken in the Prajñā[pāramitā]; 6. Completely understanding the receptacle world and the realm of sentient beings; 7. Adorning and purifying all Buddha lands; 8. Never being separated from all bodhisattvas and Buddhas; 9. Benefiting sentient beings like a medicinal tree or a wish-fulfilling jewel, benefiting whenever met; 10. In benefiting sentient beings according to circumstances, constantly without rest, not like the two vehicles who quickly enter nirvāṇa.
