忍種姓相者，謂諸菩薩性於他所遭不饒益，無恚害心，亦不反報。若他諫謝，速能納受，終不結恨，不久懷惡。如是等類名為忍相。

As for the characteristic marks of the gotra of kṣānti: bodhisattvas by nature harbor no malice or intention to harm toward others when subjected to disadvantage, nor do they retaliate. If others admonish or apologize, they quickly accept it, never holding a grudge or nursing evil for long. Such classes of things are called the characteristic marks of kṣānti.
