「復有五種法故，修行無量十善業道。何等為五？一無量世，以無量時修行故。二無量善法，以彼善法無量故。菩薩起無量善業道，集一切功德，令生受用故。三無量觀，以為無量眾生，觀非為有量眾生故。四無量盡者，譬如長者財富無量，是大捨者，是大慈者，行大悲者，大商主者，憐愍一切諸眾生故。修行者，不退心者，起如是心：『我能與彼一切眾生無量無邊安穩之樂。』菩薩亦行以住深心，為諸眾生住安穩心，起大精進心，作是思惟：『我當教化無量無邊苦惱眾生，皆悉安置涅槃樂中。』是故菩薩修行無盡。五無量迴向，以十無盡無量，修行善業道，亦復無量。以依先迴向無量故，菩薩修行一切善業道，果亦復無量，名無量迴向。」

"Furthermore, by possessing five kinds of dharmas, they cultivate immeasurable courses of ten wholesome actions. What are the five? First, immeasurable lifetimes, because they cultivate for an immeasurable duration. Second, immeasurable wholesome dharmas, because those wholesome dharmas are immeasurable; the bodhisattva initiates immeasurable wholesome courses of action and gathers all virtues so as to bring about enjoyment for sentient beings. Third, immeasurable contemplation, because they contemplate for the sake of immeasurable sentient beings, not for a limited number of sentient beings. Fourth, immeasurable exhausting [of supplies], like a householder of immeasurable wealth who is a great giver, who possesses great benevolence, who practices great compassion, and who is a great merchant leader, because they take pity on all sentient beings; a practitioner whose mind does not regress forms this thought: 'I can give those immeasurable and boundless sentient beings the bliss of peace and security'; the bodhisattva likewise acts by abiding in the deep mind, abiding in a mind of peace and security for all sentient beings, and arousing a mind of great energy, reflecting: 'I shall teach and transform immeasurable and boundless suffering sentient beings, establishing them all in the bliss of nirvāṇa'; therefore, the bodhisattva's practice is inexhaustible. Fifth, immeasurable dedication, for through the ten inexhaustible immeasurables, their cultivation of the courses of wholesome action is likewise immeasurable; because it relies on prior immeasurable dedication, the fruition of all courses of wholesome action cultivated by the bodhisattva is also immeasurable; this is called immeasurable dedication."
