四攝九門，頌如前度。自性愛語，於諸有情，常樂宣說悅可意語、諦語、法語、引攝義語，為愛語自性。

The nine gates of the four means of gathering are versified as in the preceding pāramitās. The intrinsic nature of affectionate speech is: constantly delighting in speaking words to sentient beings that are pleasant to the mind, true words, Dharma words, and words that introduce and grasp meaning—this is the intrinsic nature of affectionate speech.
