1.21

十顯守護者。《大般若經》云：「菩薩摩訶薩常勤守護是菩提心，猶如世人守護一子，亦如瞎者護餘一目，如行曠野守護導者。菩薩守護菩提之心亦復如是。因護如是菩提心故，得阿耨多羅三藐三菩提。」

Tenth, in revealing its protection: The Mahāprajñāpāramitā-sūtra states: "A bodhisattva mahāsattva constantly and diligently guards this bodhimind, just as a person in the world protects an only son, or as a blind person protects his one remaining eye, or as one traveling in a wilderness protects his guide. A bodhisattva protects the mind of bodhi in just the same way. Because of protecting such a bodhimind, he attains anuttarā-samyak-saṃbodhi."
