問：此十法行，何德須修？答：能為聞思修等三慧作助伴故。故《中邊》頌云：「此助伴應知，即十種法行。」又云：「由修此十，而得無邊諸功德故。」

Question: For what virtue must these ten dharmic practices be cultivated? Answer: Because they can serve as companions to the three wisdoms of hearing, thinking, and cultivating. Thus a verse in the Madhyāntavibhāga-bhāṣya states: / "These companions should be known / To be precisely the ten dharmic practices." / It also states: "Due to cultivating these ten, one attains boundless virtues."
