十、本末開合差別。如《大乘同性經》云「所有聲聞法、辟支佛法、菩薩法、諸佛法，如是一切諸法皆悉流入毘盧遮那智藏大海。」此文約本末分異，仍會末歸本，明一乘三乘差別顯耳。

Tenth, the distinction in opening and combining root and branches. For example, the Dacheng tongxing jing states: 'All the dharmas of śrāvakas, dharmas of pratyekabuddhas, dharmas of bodhisattvas, and dharmas of all buddhas—all such dharmas flow entirely into the great ocean of the treasury of Vairocana's gnosis.' This text divides the distinctions in terms of root and branches, yet integrates the branches back into the root, clearly demonstrating the distinction between the One Vehicle and the Three Vehicles.
