分相門者，此則別教一乘，別於三乘，如《法華》中宅內所指門外三車，誘引諸子令得出者，是三乘教也。界外露地所授牛車，是一乘教也。然此一乘、三乘差別，諸聖教中略有十說：

As for the approach of distinguishing characteristics: this is the distinct teaching One Vehicle, which is distinct from the Three Vehicles. For example, in the Saddharmapuṇḍarīka-sūtra, the three carts outside the gate pointed out inside the house, which entice the children and enable them to escape, are the teaching of the Three Vehicles. The bullock cart bestowed in the open ground outside the realm is the teaching of the One Vehicle. Moreover, regarding the distinction between this One Vehicle and the Three Vehicles, in the holy teachings there are briefly ten explanations:
