According to the distinct teaching of the One Vehicle, this body of Śākyamuni is not merely the three bodies; it is also identical to the ten bodies, so as to reveal endlessness. Furthermore, there are two bases upon which the realm of those ten buddhas relies: First, the ocean of lands, perfectly fused and sovereign, which must be ineffable; if provisionally demonstrated through doctrine, it is as spoken at the beginning of the second assembly. Second, the ocean of world systems, of which there are three kinds: (1) The ocean of worlds adorned with the Lotus Treasury, complete with host and retinue, penetrating Indra['s net] and so forth; this must be the realm of the ten buddhas and the like. (2) Beyond the trichiliocosm, there are tenfold oceans of worlds: first, the nature of world systems; second, the ocean of world systems; third, the wheel of world systems; fourth, the perfection of world systems; fifth, the differentiation of world systems; sixth, the whirl of world systems; seventh, the rotation of world systems; eighth, the lotus of world systems; ninth, the Sumeru of world systems; tenth, the characteristics of world systems. These must be the realm of wheel-turning kings of ten thousand sons and above. (3) The measureless disparate world systems that all pervade the Dharma realm: like one class of Sumeru mountain world systems, whose quantity and boundaries exhaust empty space and pervade the Dharma realm. Further, like one class of tree-shaped world systems, down to those shaped like all sentient beings, all are likewise thus, all pervading the Dharma realm without mutually obstructing one another. The above three levels are all the places where a single Vairocana's ten bodies gather and transform [beings]. Moreover, the root and branches of these three levels are perfectly fused, mutually embracing without obstruction. Why? Because according to any single world system, there are these three based on grossness and subtlety. One should know that this is entirely distinct and different from the Three Vehicles.
