夫以主教圓通，盡虛空於塵剎；帝珠方廣，攬法界於毫端。無礙鎔融，盧舍那之妙境；有崖斯泯，普賢眼之玄鑒。浩汗微言，實叵尋其旨趣；宏深法海，尤罕測於宗源。今略舉大綱，開茲十義，撮其機要，稱曰旨歸，庶探玄之士粗識其致焉。

Now, the sovereign teaching is perfectly pervasive, exhausting empty space across lands [fine as] atoms; Indra's jewels are expansive, embracing the dharmadhātu at the tip of a single hair. Unobstructed fusion is the wondrous realm of Rocana; where boundaries exist, they are obliterated by the profound contemplation of Samantabhadra's eye. Vast and boundless are the subtle words, truly impossible to fathom in their ultimate intent; magnificent and deep is the ocean of Dharma, exceedingly rare to measure at its foundational source. Now I briefly raise the general outline and open up these ten meanings, gathering their crucial points and entitling it "The Purport", hoping that scholars who explore the profound may roughly understand its significance.
