二、常隨眾者，如普賢等十佛世界微塵數等大菩薩眾，是盧舍那內眷屬故，動止常相隨，周遍一切微塵道處，於華藏界助成能化，顯一乘法，如舍利弗等千二百五十比丘，與釋迦佛亦常相隨，於娑婆界助佛揚化，說三乘等法故。

Second, the assembly of constant attendants: such as the great bodhisattva assemblies, as numerous as the subtle atoms of ten Buddha-worlds, headed by Samantabhadra. Because they are Rocana's internal retinue, they constantly accompany him in activity and rest, pervading all paths of subtle atoms, assisting in the transformative work in the Padmagarbha world and revealing the One Vehicle Dharma—just as the one thousand two hundred and fifty monks such as Śāriputra also constantly accompanied Śākyamuni Buddha, assisting the Buddha in propagating the transformation in the Sahā world and preaching the three vehicles and other teachings.
