Eighth, the unobstructed nature of the dependent and the primary: this cloud of bodies itself constitutes the entire vessel world. The sūtra says: 'He may act as the sun and moon traversing empty space, or act as rivers, ponds, wells, springs, and all oceans of worlds.' Furthermore, he also secretly enters into those lands: at each and every locus of subtle dust and hairs, there is the Buddha's body, complete and universally pervasive. The sūtra says: 'The Buddha's body fills all dharmadhātus.' Moreover, all those oceans of lands that he enters are comprehensively manifested within a single pore of the Tathāgata. The sūtra says: 'Boundless oceans of lands reside in a single hair; / All sit on the Bodhi lotus throne, / Pervading all dharmadhātus, / Sovereignly manifesting in every pore.' Samantabhadra also says: 'All Buddhas and lands / Reside within my body without obstruction; / Within each and every pore, / I manifest the Buddha's realm and clearly observe it.' How much more so for the Buddha! Furthermore, the Tathāgata sovereignly manifests his own body once again, teaching and transforming sentient beings within the lands inside his own body, unobstructed and unhindered, a realm beyond contemplation.
