Second is the contemplation of marvelous existence by manifesting objects from the mind. That is, phenomena are not impeded by principle, and in accordance with phenomena, distinctions are formed. In the previous gate, marks were gathered back into the essence; now in this gate, function is aroused on the basis of the essence, cultivating the myriad practices completely to adorn the reward land. Furthermore, in the previous gate, marks were gathered into essence to manifest the dharmakāya; now in this gate, function is aroused on the basis of essence to cultivate and accomplish the saṃbhogakāya. Therefore it is called the contemplation of marvelous existence by manifesting objects from the mind.
