然此十門，同時相應為一緣起，就初門中有十義圓融，隨一各具餘一切義。如初門既爾，餘理法隱顯等九門亦然，但隨門異耳，是故一一門中各有十、百、千等。思之可見。

Now, these ten gates simultaneously correspond to form a single pratītyasamutpāda; within the first gate there is the perfect interfusion of ten meanings, and any one possesses all other meanings. Just as this is so for the first gate, so it is for the other nine gates of the concealment and manifestation of principle and phenomena; they merely differ according to the gate. Therefore, within each single gate there are ten, a hundred, a thousand, and so forth. Contemplating this, it can be seen.
