觀曰：先就理四句者，一、以理性全體在一切事中時，不礙全體在一塵處，是故在外即在內。二、全體在一塵中時，不礙全體在餘事處，是故在內即在外。三、以無二之性各全在一切中故，是故亦在內亦在外。四、以無二之性非一切故，是故非內非外。前三句明與一切法非異，此之一句明與一切法非一。良為非一非異，故內外無礙。

The Contemplation states: First, regarding the four phrases on principle: (1) Because when the entire essence of the nature of principle is within all phenomena, it does not obstruct its entire essence being at the locus of a single dust particle, therefore being without is identical to being within. (2) When its entire essence is within a single dust particle, it does not obstruct its entire essence being at the locus of other phenomena, therefore being within is identical to being without. (3) Because the non-dual nature is each completely within all, it is therefore both within and without. (4) Because the non-dual nature is not all, it is therefore neither within nor without. The first three phrases clarify that it is not different from all phenomena; this single phrase clarifies that it is not identical to all phenomena. Precisely because it is neither identical nor different, inside and outside are unobstructed.
