Commentary: The third part concludes by exhorting practice and study, meaning that if complete clarity is in the mind, practice arises based on understanding, and when practice arises understanding ceases. Although it ceases, it is manifest, understanding and practice both fusing, cultivating yet without cultivation. Not only is it the single gate of all-pervading, but truly the three contemplations are attained together; with no-mind one embodies the ultimate, and constantly practicing without interruption, what obstruction would not dissolve? What phenomenon could impede? When this contemplation manifests, is the sage far away? Embodying it, one is wondrous! The embodiment is not provisional or small; the sage is also inconceivable! Therefore, though initially born in the royal palace, or attaining the utmost nobility as minister and counselor, if one departs from this to accomplish contemplation, how could one penetrate this mystery?
