問：須何義？答：須者緣成義。何以故？因緣法一不差故。別別諸事門中，准例如是。緣起妙理應如是可知故。第一門訖。

Question: What is the meaning of 'must'? Answer: 'Must' has the meaning of being formed through conditions. Why is this? Because the dharma of causes and conditions does not err by a single bit. Within the gates of distinct phenomena, it is by analogy like this. Because the wondrous principle of conditioned arising should be known in this way. The first gate concludes.
