法記云：圓融滿足者，猶如虛空攝一切物。約此一柱，包攝十種普法無所遺餘故也。是故普法章云：諸佛善巧會融法界圓通自在，不離見聞（已上）。以一乘中見聞圓通之法故，見聞位中即得滿足究竟佛果，故云不離見聞也。

Fa's Record states: "Perfect interfusion and complete fulfillment" is like empty space subsuming all objects. In terms of this single pillar, it envelops and subsumes the ten kinds of universal dharmas without remainder. Therefore, the Essay on the Universal Dharma states: "The skillful interfusion of the dharmadhātu by the Buddhas is completely unimpeded and sovereign, not departing from seeing and hearing (end of quotation)." Because it is the dharma of seeing and hearing being completely interfused in the One Vehicle, right within the stage of seeing and hearing one attains the complete fulfillment of the ultimate Buddha fruition; hence it says "not departing from seeing and hearing."
