The Great Record says: 'The dharmadhātu dwelling of the ten Buddhas and Samantabhadra' is the home of dharmatā and the home of the dharmadhātu dhāraṇī mentioned above, directly addressing external transformation while penetrating internal realization. As for 'the others, adverse and favorable, ruler and retinue mutually accomplishing each other', etc.: 'adverse' refers to the five heats, the heretics, and so forth; 'favorable' refers to the ten perfections, correct practices, and so forth. Taking these as the head, it broadly includes all inexhaustible dharmas; hence it says: 'by analogy they subsume one another, and you should gather the sense according to the meaning.'
