三、治病所須（其例有三）。初、謂醫術鍼灸、刀角槌捍、療疾之具。二、謂諸方、本草明堂、流注脈經、藥訣之書。三、謂對病四藥，如上列名，餘之三藥，如上入重，盡形藥中，如後正斷。

Third are requisites for curing illness (of which there are three categories): First are medical instruments for acupuncture and moxibustion, lancing horns, mallets, and rods—utensils for treating disease. Second are books of prescriptions, pharmacopeias, acupuncture charts, meridian guides, and medicinal formulas. Third are the four medicines prescribed for illness, as named above. The other three medicines are classified as heavy property as stated above; regarding lifetime medicine, it will be properly determined below.
